In 2006, the Perdido President’s Forum, brought together a number of Associations to file suit to allow each respective Condominium Association the right to petition the value adjustment board regarding valuations notwithstanding Fla. Stat. Section 194.011(3)(e) which provides for at least 20 days for a unit owner to elect, in writing, that his or her unit not be included in such petition.
